Notes:

Each disc is supplied in a dust jacket that simulates a Savoy Records sleeve.
The whole is contained in a heavy card presentation box with a 68 page, CD size, booklet detailing much about the artists whose works are included.

-Disc 3 was originally recorded by Rudy Van Gelder at his Hackensack,N.J. studios.
-Teddy Reig produced most of the sessions recorded before 1951 while Ozzie Cadena produced the sessions from 1954 through 1959.
-Most of the original material was released on 78 rpm singles
