Frequently Asked Questions

What are your store hours?

We’re open 7 days a week:

Sunday: 12:00PM – 4:00PM
Monday: 12:00PM – 4:00PM
Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00AM – 6:00PM

Do you buy records, gear, and other stuff?

Got records or gear collecting dust? Bring them to NH Vintage Vinyl and we’ll help them find a new home.

We buy clean vinyl records from all decades and genres, including select 45s. Our focus is on classic rock, punk, metal, alternative, hip hop, and anything modern that still moves the needle. We also accept CDs and cassette tapes.

We’re not looking for damaged records, 78s, loose 45s without sleeves, most classical, DVDs, or broken audio gear.

We do buy vintage hi-fi audio equipment, turntables, receivers, amps, and speakers as long as it's in good working condition. We’re especially interested in classic gear from brands like Pioneer, Marantz, and Technics. We don’t typically buy modern “retro” replicas or anything that’s not functional.

To sell, stop by during store hours. If you're bringing a large collection, give us a call ahead of time. You can also email nhvintagevinyl@gmail.com with photos or a list of your items. We can’t quote anything without seeing it in person, but the heads-up helps us prep. We will do house calls depending on the size of the collection. If we want what you have, you will have the choice between payment in store credit or cash/check. You will always get more with store credit.

Do you sell music gear and instruments?

Yes. We stock essentials like guitar strings, drum sticks, reeds, and valve oil, plus a wide selection of electric and acoustic guitars, basses, amps, and other gear to get you stage-ready. Whether you’re practicing at home or heading to a gig, we’ve got what you need.

Do you do consignment?

Yes, we offer consignment for select items. Our standard split is 75% to you and 25% to us once your item sells. If you have something you'd like us to consider, feel free to bring it in or email nhvintagevinyl@gmail.com with details and photos. We’re especially interested in unique or higher-end items that align with our store’s vibe.

Can you fix my gear?

We work with expert luthiers and drum techs who can fix just about anything—from guitars and basses to hardware and percussion. Bring your gear by the shop or contact us at nhvintagevinyl@gmail.com to tell us what you need, and we’ll get you set up with the right specialist. We do not currently offer repair services for audio equipment.
