A High Fidelity Recording Red colored labels with unshaded dog logo. Side 1 ("Italian"): taken from the broadcast of February 28, 1954. Side 2 ("Reformation"): taken from the broadcast of December 13, 1953. [Liner: Mendelssohn's "Italian" and "Reformation" Symphonies were both taken from broadcast performances which originated in Carnegie Hall, New York City. This High Fidelity recording has been prepared from a wide range, high quality magnetic tape original. The transfer from tape to disc was made with equipment which ensures the complete frequency range, a uniform response from the outside to inside of the disc, a minimum of distortion, and quiet surfaces.
