The Fab Four by Emily Winter

Hey readers, welcome back to another blog, today I’m excited to share with you a new Beatles Tribute I’ve just recently seen.

I’ve seen many Beatles Tribute bands over the years, and one that I’ve meant to see for the longest time was The Fab Four. Now I can officially say I’ve finally seen them! The Fab Four played at the Capitol Center for The Arts at the Chubb Theater in Concord, NH on January 23rd, and absolutely blew away the audience. The lineup for the night was: Ron McNeil as John Lennon, Ardy Sarraf as Paul McCartney, Doug Couture as George Harrison, and Jon McCracken as Ringo Starr.
All night the crowd cheered, danced, and sang along to every song. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, taking in every moment. It was really an unforgettable night. Every seat in the theater was almost, if not completely, filled with adoring Beatles fans alike, and mind you, this theater can hold up to 1,300 people.
This particular show's theme was the “Help!” film and other hits. About ten minutes before the show started, the big screen behind the front of the stage listed Beatles trivia questions based on the film, and they weren’t easy either. It was a fun way to pass the time as we waited for the band

Eventually, the lights dimmed and a voice came over the speakers to introduce the band. Then, in the darkness that was on stage, four figures came out and gathered their instruments… The Beatles had finally arrived. The crowd cheered and screamed as the lights came on and the band went straight into the first song of the night. Many more followed including: Another Girl, Yesterday, I Need You, Ticket To Ride, You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away, Got To Get You Into My Life, Something, Hey Jude, and of course Help! Every song was played with such accuracy. Even when they sang, they sounded just like The Beatles we all know and love. One thing I really enjoyed was the outfit changes. I don’t always see much of this, so I was very happy when they came on stage in the Sargent Pepper uniforms. We also got the Abbey Road outfits, George, however, was wearing the Mad Day Out outfit. Those black and red striped pants are my favorite. And of course, George being my favorite, I just had to add a close-up photo.
The band closed the night with Hey Jude. Everyone in the theater stood together as we waved our hands in the air, and sang in unison. It was a beautiful way to end the night. You could hear the joy in all the voices that filled the room. Also, with people right at the foot of the stage, the band went up to people to shake hands, gifted some with guitar picks, and opportunities for those who wanted to get a close-up photo of a Beatle. It was wonderful receiving a guitar pick from Harrison :)

The Fab Four seamlessly brought high energy and fun to the city of Concord, and created an unforgettable experience for all. This tribute definitely lives up to their name, truly a FAB homage to the world’s greatest band. From the outfits all the way to the voices, these guys brought the music we love back to life right before our eyes. I can’t wait to see them again!
As always feel free to comment and suggest other bands I should go see or an album you think I should have a listen to.
All The Best!
